Trevor O’Neil proudly represents Anaheim’s District 6 on the Anaheim City Council and was first elected in 2018.

His accomplishments include fighting for more funding and preparedness as Anaheim Fire & Rescue has protected Anaheim residents through multiple record wildfire years.

Council Member O’Neil also remains committed to preserving quality of life for Anaheim Hills residents.

He’s focused on city parks and park maintenance. In 2019, O’Neil hosted a volunteer cleanup day at Oak Canyon Nature Center, supported by neighbors and the business community.

At the regional level, O’Neil has served as the city’s representative on the Southern California Association of Governments and has chaired the Orange County Council of Governments.

O’Neil is also active with the Orange County Taxpayers Association and the Association of California Cities–Orange County.

At the city level, O’Neil chaired Anaheim’s Ad-Hoc Committee on Housing and Housing Affordability. O’Neil fights for sensible housing policy that addresses housing affordability in the state without the use of unrealistic mandates on affordable housing.

O’Neil also voted in favor of the 2020 city agreement with the ownership of Angels Baseball. The agreement keeps the team in Anaheim through at least 2050 and is expected to create thousands of jobs and increase tax revenues with development around Angel Stadium of Anaheim.

He is currently focused on Anaheim’s economic recovery in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. As part of the city’s relief package, more than $35 million has been committed to assist residents and businesses impacted by the pandemic.

O’Neil has lived in Anaheim Hills for more than 25 years. As a successful business owner and operator, he has supported the senior community in Southern California through homecare services. O’Neil holds a bachelor’s in computer science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
